CMRRA Distributed Over $57 Million in Royalties to Music Publishers and Self-Published Songwriters in 2020

The Canadian Musical Reproductive Rights Agency (CMRRA) is the country’s leading mechanical reproduction rights licensing collective with a database of more than 40 million musical works. A 17% increase in online streaming (compared to 2019’s distributions) represented a big part of the $57 million in royalties. Read more here.
