S.A.C. advocates for music creators at the World Intellectual Property Organization

Advocacy, Broadcast, GenAI

S.A.C. was in Geneva last week, proudly representing music creators at The World Intellectual Property Organization’s forty seventh session of the Standing Committee on Copyright and Related Rights (SCCR 47)

Throughout the week, S.A.C. representatives joined plenary sessions, took part in AI-focused discussions, and met with member states and creator organizations from around the world — building alliances, strengthening global ties, and championing the rights of the human creators behind the music.

S.A.C’s message was clear and united: copyright must be protected and strengthened in the face of rapid technological change. Human creativity matters. Its value must be recognized, defended, and preserved.
