S.A.C. President Arun Chaturvedi recently met with the Honourable Steven Guilbeault, Minister of Canadian Identity and Culture, to discuss key issues impacting Canadian music creators. Their conversation covered critical topics such as Generative Artificial Intelligence and the implementation of the Online Streaming Act.

It was encouraging to witness Minister Guilbeault’s continued dedication to protecting creators’ rights and ensuring their voices are heard at the highest levels of government.

We extend our sincere thanks to Minister Guilbeault for his leadership and ongoing advocacy on behalf of Canada’s creative community.
