Minister Rodriguez Invites the Arts, Culture and Heritage Sectors to a National Summit on Their Recovery in Early 2022

The Honourable Pablo Rodriguez announced yesterday that a national summit will be specifically held to figure how to better position the future of the arts, culture and heritage sectors next year.   He’ll be meeting with artists across the country at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa. Rodriguez has released a statement January 11,2022 that the summit will be postponed for now ‘due to recent developments in the COVID-19 pandemic, we have refocused our attention on the immediate challenges facing Canadian artists and cultural workers’.
