The CMRRA is a non-profit music licensing agency, which represents the vast majority of music copyright owners (usually called music publishers) doing business in Canada.
 Canadian Private Copying Collective (CPCC)
The Canadian Private Copying Collective is a non-profit agency charged with collecting and distributing private copying royalties.  The organization represents songwriters, recording artists, music publishers and record companies.  
Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers (SOCAN)
SOCAN is the Canadian copyright collective that administers the performing rights of more than 90,000 composer, author and music publisher members by licensing the use of their music in Canada.  SOCAN collects fees on behalf o members and distributes royalties.

The Musicians' Rights Organization Canada (MROC) is a non-profit collective that collects and distributes royalties for performers.  These royalties are payable under copyright legislation and reflect the rights of performers to be paid fairly for the broadcast and public performance of the recording(s) on which they performed
