Hearts Aligned

I don’t wanna lie to you
It isn’t fair
I don’t wanna say to you
Things you wanna hear
You deserve more than I can give

Loosing the connection
A different place
Parallel dimension
So far away
I can’t reach you even when I feel you breathe

IN A DIFFERENT PLACE
IN A DIFFERENT TIME
WE CAN TAKE IT THERE
WHEN THE HEARTS ALIGN
IN A DIFFERENT LIFE
WE DON’T HAVE TO FIGHT
LOOK EACH OTHER IN THE EYES
WHEN THE HEARTS ALIGN

Should’ve seen the signal
Up in the sky
Going around in circles
We’re satellites
You and me meant to be something that we can’t escape

It’s breaking me to pieces
To watch it fade
Baby please believe me
When I say
You and me meant to be in a different time and place

IN A DIFFERENT PLACE
IN A DIFFERENT TIME
WE CAN TAKE IT THERE
WHEN THE HEARTS ALIGN
IN A DIFFERENT LIFE
WE DON’T HAVE TO FIGHT
LOOK EACH OTHER IN THE EYES
WHEN THE HEARTS ALIGN

Only Human

I just discovered
You got another lover
I thought I was ok
Now I need to know his name
And his game, his game, his game

My heart is aching
Every time I breath in
I don’t believe you’re gone
Who knew you’d be moving on
So fast, so fast, so fast

I’M LOOKING FOR SOME CLOSURE
IT SEEMS I HAVEN’T GOTTEN OVER
THE TOUCH OF YOUR HANDS ON MY BODY
LEFT ME HIGH, KEPT ME FAR FROM SOBER

Now you don’t ever pick up your phone
Please pick up you phone
Pick up your phone, we’re only human
Pick up your phone, please pick up your phone
Your phone, we’re only human
Pick up your phone
Please pick up you phone
Pick up your phone, we’re only human
Pick up your phone, please pick up your phone
Your phone

I left a message
I hope you don’t erase it
Gotta get this off my chest
You always deserved the best
And no less, no less, no less

I repent I’m sorry
My love was sometimes ugly
The one thing I regret
What I did to make us crash
My bad, my bad, my bad
