A Little List

A Little List (Everything You Said You Wanted Too)

I don't want to play your video game, sorry,
I don't want to blow off somebody's head, gory,
I don't want to cry, I don't want to shout,
I want a little more...

Fun on Saturday night,
A little more sunlight,
A little more heart, a little more soul,
A little more rock and roll,
A little more spark, a little more spike,
A little more love, a little more like
Everything you said you wanted too.

I don't want to say, but you can be so boring.
Where is the guy who used to be so adoring?
I don't want to cry, I don't want to shout,
I want a little more...

Fun on Saturday night,
A little more sunlight,
A little more heart, a little more soul,
A little more rock and roll,
A little more spark, a little more spike,
A little more love, a little more like
Everything you said you wanted too,
But never do.

Do you think that I expect too much?
I don't think so, and I'm not giving up,
I've made it easy for you, I've made it easy for you,
I've made a little list of things you can do.

A little more fun on Saturday night,
A little more sunlight,
A little more heart, a little more soul,
A little more rock and roll,
A little more spark, a little more spike,
A little more love, a little more like
Everything you said you wanted too.

I'm Still Waiting for Christmas

They're packing up the Santa Claus and reindeer,
Taking down the mistletoe for another year,
Everybody's thinking 'bout New Year's Eve,
But I'm still waiting for Christmas.

Look at all the lucky little girls and boys
Playing with all their new Christmas toys,
Everybody's wearing new Christmas clothes,
But I'm still waiting for Christmas.

I asked Santa for just one thing,
The only thing I wanted;
Christmas day I wanted to see
You underneath my Christmas tree.

Well, maybe Santa never got my letter,
Or maybe Santa heard I'd been naughty, whatever,
I won't be celebrating New Year's Eve;
I'm still waiting for Christmas.

If I Don't Make It Through This Christmas

If I don't make it through this Christmas have a drink on me,
Put all of my belongings under some poor family's tree,
Dress me up like Santa, deck me out in mistletoe,
Sing "O, Hallelujah" and bury me in the snow.

If I don't make it through this Christmas I won't have to pretend
That mere acquaintances are really dear, dear friends.
And concerning my vital organs, I'd be happy to donate,
Sing, "O, Hallelujah" and guide me to the Pearly Gates.

Jolly Saint Nicholas,
Time to take me off your list,
Angels we have heard on high,
Sing me one more lullaby.

If I don't make it through this Christmas there will be those who'll grieve,
But they'll be getting over it in time for New Year's Eve,
So, crack the Champagne open, toast the year and me good-bye,
I'll be with Guy Lombardo's "Royal Canadians" high up in the sky.

Jolly Saint Nicholas,
Time to take me off your list,
Angels we have heard on high,
Sing me one more lullaby.

If Never

Imagine if we never ever meet,
That we just keep on missing one another,
Will I always have the feeling
Maybe I just passed you on the street?

How can I want you
When I don’t know you?
How can I want someone who isn’t even real?
Still, I feel you out there somewhere.
Is that the way you feel?

Imagine if I never see your face,
Never hear your voice, never touch you.
Will I spend my whole life yearning?
Will I always long for your embrace?

How can I want you
When I don’t know you?
How can I want someone who isn’t even real?
Still, I feel you out there somewhere.
Is that the way you feel?

How can I want you
When I don’t know you?
How can I want someone who isn’t even real?
Still, I feel you out there somewhere.
Is that the way you feel?

I’ll dream about you
And live without you,
And go on searching every street and avenue,
And if I never find you out there,
You know that's what I'll always have to do.

Is It Just Me?

Are you lonely?
Are you only
Barely hanging on?
Do you miss me much?
Do you miss how we touched?
Do you wonder what went wrong?

Do you go over every word you ever said?
Do you lie awake every night in your bed?
Do you blame yourself? Do you blame me?
Do you want to try to be friends
Or never see me again?
Do you ever break down and cry?
Or is it just me?

When your phone rings,
Are you hoping
It's me who's on the line?
Are you drinking a lot?
Are you eating or not?
Are you going out of your mind?

Do you go over every word you ever said?
Do you lie awake every night in your bed?
Do you blame yourself? Do you blame me?
Do you want to try to be friends
Or never see me again?
Do you ever break down and cry?
Or is it just me?
