It's No Fun

Hook:
It's No fun, it's No fun, It's No fun

Chorus:
And I see you coming around
Cemetery graves are found
And I see you coming around
Ain't it quiet ain't a sound
Verse 1:
Stay right there, show me your desire desire
chill around, I sense your fire
you don't like it, why is that so?
Use your power, take it, I go

Chorus:
And I see you coming around
Cemeraty graves are found
And I see you coming around
Ain't it quiet ain't a sound

Verse 2:
Light it up now, oh, the lungs that need
your pain, ain't got no gain, I'm feeling so
All alone, acting like you care
Acting like you wear the truth on you

Bridge:
Voices talking to me in my head
looking into the mirror, they're not real
But I know it's something that I feel
Spirit rise, oh divide and they said
The flowers of your past are sewn in your head
The memories are all dead and I know

Just Tell Me

Verse 1:
Synapses of your brain are consuming me
Thinking you can escape, why don't you flee
Social pressure on you, anxiety
Social pressure on me, which I don't need

Chorus:
Sign, just tell me, say what's your mind,
Just free me aren't you all so kind
Just tell me please give me a sign
Just tell me, tell me

Verse 2:
you're always concerned about your fellow friends
Constantly worrying what they, they think of you
Be strong and hold yourself down, don't fall on through
Why don't you just live your life, it's in your dreams

Chorus:
Sign, just tell me, say what's your mind,
Just free me aren't you all so kind
Just tell me please give me a sign
Just tell me, tell me

Bridge:
Your compassion shows me what you really mean
So come out and watch me, tell me what you see
Don't take it for granted, come around so clean
So come out and watch me

Chorus:
Sign, just tell me, say what's your mind,
Just free me aren't you all so kind
Just tell me please give me a sign
Just tell me, tell me

Wasting My Time

Chorus:
Wasting all my time, you make me lazy, I might go crazy
Wasting all my time, you make me lazy, I might go crazy

Verse 1:
Hanging out with all his friends
Oh they're all so lame
Always going with the current trends
Who are they to blame?

Prechorus:
Count your blessings every day, I don't need you, please stay away

Chorus:
Wasting all my time, you make me lazy, I might go crazy
Wasting all my time, you make me lazy, I might go crazy

Verse 2:
And she told me I can come with them
but she took me for a ride
Told me honey please leave my home
they're always staring, shows no pride

Prechorus:
Count your blessings every day, I don't need you, please stay away

Chorus:
Wasting all my time, you make me lazy, I might go crazy
Wasting all my time, you make me lazy, I might go crazy

Bridge:
Time is frozen, need you feeling, you're so far. I want you, I like you, I feed you, I see you.
Shut your mouth and eat your pride and get away. I want you, I like you, I feed you, I see you.
I don't need you. I don't need you, I don't need you. I want you, I like you, I feed you, I see you.
I really love you. I really love you. I really do not. I want you, I like you, I feed you, I see you.

Chorus:
Wasting all my time, you make me lazy, I might go crazy
Wasting all my time, you make me lazy, I might go crazy

Biography:

Pink Cocoon is a solo project created by 24 year old multi-instrumentalist Marc Zolla. It started in 2017 when he recorded his first EP "Alienation". He self released 200 copies on CD and sold them at shows and online as well as spreading copies to relevant bands in the scene. Everything took off from there. Having played countless short tours throughout Canada and the USA over the past few years they performed over 50 shows in the first year as a band. They’ve haven’t stopped hustling since day one.

Fast forward to 2020 and the Pink Cocoon sound has evolved ever further. They call themselves "Doom Blues for the Soul” focusing on old school psychedelic bluesy riffs with hints of pop melodies and of course doom metal. The live experience is dynamic, worshipping volume, but never spiralling out of control. It’s doom, it’s blues, it’s pop, it’s rock n’ roll.

With a wide range of influences, the mad scientist behind the music Marc Zolla forges an intricate soundscape. He records all the instruments and vocals himself. Once everything is set, the dark magic begins to take shape. Pink Coccoon draw influence from everything from Black Sabbath to Stevie Ray Vaughan by way of Alice in Chains and even rappers like ASAP Rocky.

Replete with potent grooves, the Pink Cocoon experience will have heads banging and bodies dancing. The live lineup consists of Marc Zolla on the guitar and vocals with his buddies Patrick Murphy on the drums and Noah Amick on bass. Pink Cocoon seek to consistently release music with a different, crisper edge. A new single will be unveiled in the coming weeks with a music video filmed in New York City.
