I live in a quiet, small community in the rural Ottawa, Ontario area. My songs are deeply influenced by Folk and Traditional Music, Love Songs and Ballads, Protest Songs and the Blues … with a measure or two (every now and then) of some good ol’ classic Rock ‘n’ Roll.

In the past I've played with "cover" rock 'n' roll bands and done some solo performing. A "hi-lite" for me was when my old band traveled years ago to "Beatlesfest" in Liverpool, England, and played the Cavern Club as one of the acts opening for the Pete Best Band (Pete was the Beatles drummer before Ringo). This was during the release of Anthology I by the remaining Beatles. It was absolutely packed. We also opened for Pete when he visited Canada and played Canada Day at Kanata, Ontario (part of Ottawa). A totally awesome experience!

We had also opened previously for Canadian singer/songwriter, Valdy on another Canada Day ... and played various corporate and special events gigs.

My true love is writing--telling stories through songs. Some of my current original songs are as follows (unless otherwise noted I wrote the lyrics and music):

A New Phenomenon
A Ransom Love Could Never Pay
Annie Sneaks Down
As This Candle Dies
Beautiful Little One
Believe In You
Between Lightness and Blue
Bound To Find A Way
Can Such A Thing Really Come Around
Christmas Time Is Coming
Didn’t Realize I Could Feel That Bad (Blues)
Four In The Mornin’ (Blues)
Got To Try Again
I Don’t Care (Blues)
I Have A True Lady Friend
In The Passage We Try
It Don’t Matter At All
It’s Just Not Right (lyrics – Ed; music - Jerry Mayer) *
Jamaica Sun
Just Yesterday (lyrics – Ed; music – Paul Huot) **
Kiss Her By The Light Of The Moon
Little Bit Of Love
Love Is Kind When You Are There
Morning Song
Mr. Cain
Nightmare (Halloween song)
Nothin’ Left At All
Old Houses, Boarded Windows, Shut Up Doors
One Too Many Lies
Our Christmas Morning
Reflections and Memories
She Dreams of Casablanca
She’d Never Lie To You
Stanley Whittle
Stayin’ Crazy On You
Steppin’ On Out
The Wind Is Blowing Across My Shoulder
There’s A Miracle For You
Vagabond Man
Will You Be Home To Me
You Are the One
