Biography:

I grew up in a house full of music, my father played fiddle, mother piano and all 3 of us kids sang, every Saturday night for years sounded like Don Messers Jubilee. I was always singing, always. I was making up my own words and melody after getting my first portable cassette recorder at 8 years old so my parents decided to buy me a guitar to help write songs. At first I was more interested in singing than playing guitar and joined my first band at 12 as a lead singer.

I began to take music very serious at about 17 and started my first serious band called The Agency. This band lasted for 3 years and was my first taste of playing covers in clubs.

My band from 1990-2000 called, rhubarb....was the closest I got to getting a real shot at serious success in the Canadian Music Industry.
At this point I was conwriting with Brooks my long time co writer in rhubarb, pretty much every song we recorded. Our first record was a 6 song EP called Iron Bridge. We recorded that with Harry Hess from Harem Scarem fame at his Cabin Fever studio. That self produced release got us an Indy deal.

In 1992 we got ourselves signed to a small Indy label called Wax Tablet Revords.
We ended up with a 13 song record called Mad Urban Cow. We managed, with the help of radio tracker Anya Wilson, to get jairplay across the country with a single called I Wish, co written by myself and Brooks.

After rhubarb disbanded in 2001 I began write cowrite and to produce. I worked with dozens of local writers and bands and produced both demos and finished product. I spent almost 2 years writing with and producing an amazing talent named Sheri Hawkins from Minden Ont. We released her Loves Sad Stories a jazz swing record together and it's still getting airplay.

At the present I want to start shopping my extensive list of songs I've written and recorded. I'm also interested in producing as well. Most of my solo work has never been heard and those who have heard it have said I should get it out there so here is me now trying to get it out there.
