Biography:
Alexandra Willett is a Canadian singer-songwriter of acoustic folk pop style with influences from jazz, indie, and rock. Her francophone roots emerge in her expressive lyrics that confirm her storyteller disposition. A remarkable vocalist, Alexandra seems to have an endless energy on stage that never fails to captivate an audience.
The artist has been singing for as long as she can remember, and started writing songs at a very young age. A few years later, Alexandra began learning guitar to accompany herself and hasn’t stopped playing since. Since then, she has acquired a Jazz Music Diploma from Québec and a Musical Theatre Diploma from British-Columbia. Being in theatre and on the West Coast allowed Alexandra to further develop and refine her unique style to what it is today.
Alexandra has been known to perform at La Bavaroise in Nicolet, QC, the B-Side Lounge in Toronto, ON, and even at the Zodiac Sessions in Dublin, Ireland. Her greatest joy is to be able to connect with people through music and to share her passion with whoever might listen. Her first single "Tip Toe" was played on CBC Music Radio across the country, and her EP of the same name is set to release Feb. 28th, 2020.
